Pour Dom Hemingway, son premier long métrage depuis 2004, le réalisateur Richard Shepard (The Matadors, Sexy Beast) a choisi de raconter l'histoire d'un célèbre gangster, spécialisé dans l'ouverture de coffre fort, tout juste sorti de prison et bien décidé à se venger.
